We warmly invite you to a revered cultural event—India’s Independence Day celebration hosted by India Fest Townsville Inc. Join us on 15th August, starting at 5:00 PM for a 5:15 PM commencement at Riverway Stadium - Sporting Dr, Thuringowa Central QLD 4817.
Event Highlights:
🇮🇳 Flag Hoisting Ceremony: Pay respect as the Australian Flag is hoisted first by the Mayor of Townsville, followed by the Indian Flag raised by Ex Lt Col A/Prof. Jay Iyer.
🎶 National Anthems: Honor the day with the National Anthems of both Australia and India.
🍬 Sweet Snacks: After the ceremony, enjoy traditional sweet treats.
This celebration is a profound tribute to our motherland and an esteemed occasion for our community to come together in respect and unity. Your participation will help honor this significant day and reinforce our cultural heritage.
